April of 2000, I had back surgery (diskectomy) for a ruptured disk
in my lower back. After 6 months of following doctors orders
(physical therapy mainly), I was having chronic back and leg pain. I
was given Vioxx and pain meds which aggravated my stomach. After

was going to get and I had to learn to live with it. A dear friend
